The Florence Project is a multipurpose research and consulting service for nursing and healthcare standards of practice.  

Our advocacy resources are dedicated to the  professionalism of registered nurses and to the safety and integrity of the patients entrusted to their care.

Professional nurses want to know what happened to standards of professional care and to putting our patients best interests first. We want to reclaim the pride and honor we felt at our nursing school graduations when that candle was first lit, or that cap was placed on our heads.

We must 

  1. Educate ourselves regarding our nursing standards of practice
  2. Advocate for our professional rights
  3. Empower ourselves to provide safe, quality care to our patients

Its time for nursing practice to be determined by real nurses.
